509 Evolve Jacket Shell

The new 509 Evolve Jacket improved with a hybrid construction that blends a 5TECHTM waterproof breathable material, with a waterproof breathable stretch woven material. We have optimized the construction for more breathability, yet still durable for all-mountain riders. You go faster, and so do we.

ENTERING THE JACKET IS AN EXPERIENCE THAT DESCRIBES ALL OF THE FEATURES IT HAS / Features that predict your movement, understand how to adapt. New hybrid construction with stretch zones, and durability zones. Improved waterproof coil zipper, and waterproof zipper construction throughout. As you slip the jacket on, sliding the arms in through the FLOW lining with low friction liner, and extend through the wrist gaiter for a next-to-skin seal. The sleeves are anatomically fit with 5TECHTM stretch zones. Open the velcro cuff, and the speed cinch adjusts the cuff to proper fit, close the Velcro tab to lock in place. As you zip the jacket up and seal off the cold and biting wind blasts of powder, something magic happens.

SELF-ALIGNING, 5MAG LOW INTERFERENCE MAGNET CLOSURE / A new 5MAG pocket, with new easy access. Internal organizer pocket for 12 Volt Ignite powerpack. 5MAG closure focuses Gaussian energy, reducing interference with other components. The 5MAG pocket is aligned with the center of your body, natural, easy to find, and easy to access. 

THE FLOW LINING IS EASY FITTING, LAYER FRIENDLY, AND BREATHABLE / Powerstretch panels for improved moisture management. Stretching and conforming, it has high airflow, low weight and bulk, and less surface area for condensation and absorption. A soft fleece yoke provides a warm and inviting zone around neck and shoulders, a 100gm additional insulation protection zone, another hybrid advancement. It prevents snow from melting on your shoulders, and it prevents internal condensation from a cold outside layer.

THE STRETCH. THE GIVE. THE EASE / 5TECHTM stretch materials use a mechanical stretch yarn on the durable face and laminated with a 5TECHTM waterproof breathable component. The material stretch now provides a great range of motion and comfort in our hybrid construction. Seam taped.

DURABILITY ZONES / High strength 5TECHTM materials with a Cordura® face, 300 D high tenacity yarns, and a C6 Durable Water Repellency. It can shed snow and rain and take a hit.
